2006 San Diego Bay Bass Tournament

Captain Rob Butler had a dilemma. He needed to be in Clearwater Florida for the Annual Boat US/Vessel Assist Meeting and he also needed to be present at the San Diego Bay Bass Tournament. Rob Butler Personally donates $2500.00 cash and gives every contestant a free Basic Membership adding up to another $3200.00.

Normally every February Boat US/Vessel Assist conducts an annual meeting in conjunction with C-Port (an organization that Just about every commercial towboat company is a member of). Robert Butler, being a Board Member Could not afford to miss out on the trip back east.

Hannah Butler, Rob’s Younger Daughter stepped in.  At 13 years old she knows more about commercial towing than the average adult and to say the least is a very avid fisher person. She made her appearance wearing her Vessel Assist Apparel and assisting in the weigh-in process in the tournament.

She stood by and handed the prize checks out to the skilled anglers. “It was fun and I’ve never seen a check that big,” Hannah Said. Speaking in reference to the 2’ by 4’ checks given to the place winners. She also won a few raffle prizes including the prize before the grand prize boat and motor.

“She loves to fish and loves to get involved with the San Diego Bay Bass Tournament. This is the 8th year she has been to it only problem now is she wants to fish it.”

So next time you’re at the San Diego Bay Bass Tournament Look for Hannah in her Vessel Assist Apparel.
